Education Overview

Education programs offered throughout the year at Sha'are Shalom are varied in topic and audience. The religious school for grades K-10 is the largest of our educational offerings. For our young preschool age children we offer RUJEC (our weekly preschool program) and Nevetim "sprouts" (a free monthly Sunday morning class for parents and their preschool children), both fantastic programs that introduce Jewish values and traditions at an early age.

The opportunity to learn and grow doesn't stop with our children. Each autumn a new menu of classes is available for adult members and non members alike. Last years topics included Jewish Demons and Angels, Jewish Ethics in Everyday Life, Four amazing Yiddish short stories, a weekly Torah study class, and a study of Siddur Nehalel Shabbat.
